Brixton is a fantastic neighbourhood, where a diverse community of students, professional and manual workers, artists, architects, academics, musicians, and entrepreneurs live side by side. Here, kids play together in the streets and local park after school, and everyone knows their neighbours and greets each other on the street. People love living here because Brixton is close to the universities of Johannesburg and the Witwatersrand, downtown, Melville, the Parks, Mayfair and Fordsburg and Braamfontein.
thebicycle.co.za (based on the premises of Breezeblock) offers cycling lessons to adults and children, bicycles provided. Did you know Brixton is linked to Braamfontein by bicycle lanes? Now you do!
